A November 2023 archived X post attributed a cluster of cryptocurrency thefts to North Korean state sponsored hackers also known as Lazarus Group, listing HTX/HECO, Poloniex, CoinEx, Stake, Alphapo/CoinsPaid, and Atomic Wallet. The post put losses at about $505 million across 172 days and separately stated that Lazarus had stolen more than $270 million in the prior 102 days. Its CTI value is as a contemporaneous open source aggregation of DPRK linked crypto thefts, not a technical malware report.
