Cryptopia disclosed a major exchange breach after 20,752.5912 ETH moved from a Cryptopia address to a suspected relay wallet between January 13 and 14, followed by another 8,024.1588 ETH across 76,078 transactions. Uppsala Security estimated that 28,776.75 ETH, about $3.5 million, was siphoned and traced 28,773.5681 ETH to a second suspected attacker address where it remained at publication time. The report also tracks ERC20 token theft from another Cryptopia wallet, a possible gas-funding chain through Suspect1 and Suspect2, and exchange-side freezing of some stolen tokens. It warns victims about donation scams exploiting the incident and points partner exchanges to real-time wallet reputation checks.
