Crypto Broker DeltaPrime Drained of Over $6M Amid Apparent Private Key Leak
2024-09-16 • Coin Desk •
CoinDesk reports a cryptocurrency theft against DeltaPrime in which more than $6 million in tokens were drained after an apparent private-key leak. Security researchers described suspicious transactions and an attacker gaining control of an admin proxy before redirecting it to a malicious contract. The incident affected the Arbitrum deployment while the Avalanche version was not reported as impacted, making the report useful for tracking DeFi private-key compromise and smart-contract abuse rather than a confirmed DPRK attribution.
