The DPRK-relevant sections include a March 2026 designation of North Korean IT-worker networks that allegedly generated nearly $800 million in 2024 for weapons programs, with 21 addresses across Ethereum, Tron, and Bitcoin. Chainalysis also describes an August 2025 Russia-linked facilitator network that laundered more than $600,000 in DPRK IT-worker proceeds through exchanges, bridges, DeFi protocols, and mixers. The broader sanctions record also notes Huione Group laundering exposure that included funds from North Korean cyber heists, underscoring the compliance value of blockchain tracing and coordinated disruption.
